Kegiatan lomba dalam rangka memperingati hari ulang tahun republik Indonesia ini sedikit berbeda dari tahun-tahun sebelumnya, karena tahun ini kegiatan lomba dilaksanakan secara virtual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ada 5 jenis lomba yang diikuti oleh seluruh siswa\/siswi SMP LAB SCHOOL FIP UMJ ini diantaranya yaitu lomba menyanyikan lagu daerah, membuat video vlog tentang hari kemerdekaan, membuat barang recycle dalam mengikuti setiap lomba. Selain kegiatan lomba virtual ada juga kegiatan yang tidak kalah menarik yaitu kegiatan wajib seperti Upacara Bendera yang di laksanakan dengan secara virtual, di mana para petugas pelaksana upacara bendera menggunakan APD (alat pelindung diri) yang bertujuan untuk menghargai jasa para pahlawan kesehatan seperti dokter dan tenaga kesehatan lainnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pelaksanaan upacara bendera dan lomba virtual ini dilaksanakan dengan khidmat dan berjalan dengan lancar. Seluruh peserta lomba dan seluruh warga sekolah dapat mengikuti kegiatan tersebut, sehingga acara kegiatan HUT RI ke 76 dapat dilaksanakan dengan sangat meriah dan gembira.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kegiatan lomba virtual ini bertujuan untuk membangun jiwa nasionalisme dan mencintai kebudayaan Indonesia dan juga membangun rasa percaya diri, memiliki jiwa saing
